From raw materials to precision-crafted components, every exceptional home begins with a carefully executed process.

National partner, Canadian Timberframes Ltd., gives a behind-the-scenes look at the craftsmanship, precision, and manufacturing process that transforms a 30-foot log into a custom 15.5" x 21.5" timber. Their vertically integrated approach allows for greater quality control, custom sizing, and shorter lead times from start to finish.

Take a look inside the process.

Where architecture meets the land.

Perched along the rugged shoreline of Flathead Lake, The Sanctuary by Mindful Designs was designed with a simple philosophy: allow nature to lead.

Rather than imposing on the landscape, the design team embraced it by preserving rock formations, protecting existing trees, incorporating native vegetation, and creating a home that feels inseparable from its surroundings.

From the expansive green roof and custom basalt-lined hot tub to the retractable glass walls and extraordinary craftsmanship found throughout every interior space, each detail was carefully considered to create a retreat centered around connection, stewardship, and family. Inside, not a square foot of drywall is present. Instead, a rich mélange of woods, stone and glass are featured in this home.

With 6,738 square feet of conditioned living space, 2,508 square feet of outdoor decks and patios, and a 6,380-square-foot rooftop green roof, The Sanctuary is a remarkable example of architecture that doesn’t compete with nature, but exists in harmony with it.

Extraordinary developments begin with a bold vision and the ability to reimagine what’s possible.

In our latest episode, Ted sits down with Dean Jones, CEO of Realogics Sothebys Intl Realty, to discuss Terminal One Motor + Yacht Club | Salmon Bay, Seattle Motor and Yacht Club, a transformative new development redefining luxury ownership in Seattle.

From transforming a former industrial site into a premier waterfront destination, to creating an entirely new ownership model centered around lifestyle and community, Dean shares the vision behind one of the Pacific Northwest’s most innovative luxury developments.

The conversation also explores Seattle’s evolving luxury market, the region’s thriving yachting culture, the role of Olson Kundig in shaping the architectural vision, and why experiences continue to drive the future of luxury real estate.

Perfect for architects, builders, developers, collectors, and those fascinated by the future of luxury lifestyle and real estate.

Exceptional renovations redefine how a home is experienced.

MHM LIVING reimagined the layout of this home by taking the existing dining and entry space and introducing a new wall to create a custom office, a sophisticated lounge, and a hallway that ties the spaces together beautifully. The renovation also included a significant structural addition with a new foundation, framing, roofing, and masonry, resulting in a seamless expansion that enhances both the home’s flow and livability.
