Hi Aaron,

I hope you had a good weekend. Please see below for a little intro about our show and also links to my social media accounts. Thank you.

My podcast is called the Angry Asian Uncles. My co host, Victor, and I discuss various topics. Sometimes they are topics that are bothering us, maybe topics that we struggle with, and topics that our guest bring to the table. We often through in a little Asian point of view to the topics or a western versus Eastern culture comparison. The reason we started this podcast was purely for therapeutic reason as I am blind and Victor suffers from chronic back pain. It allows us to not only discuss topics of interest it also allows us to Meet new people. Due to our disabilities we might get the opportunity to get out much and both of us are parents as well which really reduces our free time. This podcast has become an outlet for us to have grown up conversations, meet new friends, and share stories. We also feel a podcast allows us to bring awareness to various issues, medical conditions, niche demographics, and more. At the end of the day we also want our podcast to be fun for everyone and hopefully have a positive take away from it, since we do try to end with a nugget of wisdom. Our goal here is to bring engaging conversations, interesting stories, raw opinions to life in a fun filled podcast. We welcome everyone to join us as a guest as well whether it is something light hearted or something more serious we just want to hear and share people’s stories.

, i am a totally blind DJ, this is my story

Raeez Kuhn, "Eezo the Blind DJ". I lost my eyesight at the age of 2 years old. I attended The School for The Blind for years, where I learned to read, write, and use computers. I was allowed to pursue my passion for music which developed when my uncle used to play the radio in the car.
From the age of 10, I began to dream of a career as a DJ. I decided to call myself "Eezo the Blind DJ". Some people thought I was crazy, how could a blind person manage the decks, choose the tracks, and mix the sounds? IMPOSSIBLE…
I wanted to challenge myself and realize my dream. Nonetheless, I have thousands of followers on Facebook and can access social media using an app called "TalkBack", which converts the written word (on the screen of my phone), into the spoken word.
Promoters are willing to give me work, but I don't have any equipment, and because of this, I can't get the gigs I need.
Funds raised will assist me in acquiring the much-needed equipment I need to perform my work and continue my passion.
For more information about my background, you can read an article by Rise ‘n Shine Disability Magazine done in 2020 “THE BLIND DJ EEZO”.
To sponsor or send me funds, please use the below details:
Bank: Tyme Bank
Account number: 51008122272 (Current)
Account Holder: R Kuhn
Bank code: 678910
Ulternatively you can donate to
paypal.me/djeezo
I am from johannesburg south gauteng south africa

You are welcome to contact me on my page Raeez Kuhn if you would ike to discuss any potential gigs, and are willing to provide the equipment for this.

Cheryl Green and Thomas Reid are two long-time disabled podcasters who separately have been mentoring disabled folks wanting support to start podcasts. With support from Alice Wong and the Disability Visibility Project, in 2025, Green and Reid launched POD Access as a platform and space for d/Deaf and disabled podcasters to find audiences and each other. At POD Access, we believe disability is an essential lens for telling stories. Disability culture is self-determined, intersectional, empowered, and interdependent. POD Access offers aspiring, beginning, and established d/Deaf and disabled podcasters an approachable, easy-going experience to build community, learn about podcasting, and grow an audience. We respect access needs and are led by a disabled team.
