We love our children. And we’re forever grateful to the nannies and caregivers who help raise them with such patience and heart.

But we’ve seen the challenges that come when language becomes a barrier—especially between kids and the people caring for them every day.

That’s why we created Learn Because We Care.

This book was written out of love—to close the communication gap, especially for families and caregivers navigating English and Haitian Creole.

It’s about more than just learning words—it’s about creating safety, understanding, and connection in the most important relationships in a child’s life.

Because when caregivers feel empowered, and kids feel understood, everyone wins. 💛

We care enough to make a change. This book is just the beginning.

Today, with all my children, I supervised my mom for Haitian Mother's Day. Along with many Haitian heroes of mothers who sacrifice everything they have, at times had given up dreams, aspirations to make sure their children get the best out of live, I wish you all a great and wonderful Haitian Mother's Day.
My visit to my mom wit my kids today emphasized how much more important our presence, our kindness, our love, and our time together with loved ones is than when we throw money at things.
Happy Mother's Day mom. Nothing could've make me happier to see how much you enjoyed being with us.
