You know what I love? Women that are confident that their own light is shining even when another woman's light might be outshining her own in the moment.

Whew...I said it! In this life is hard enough to find our way out of the darkness! We do not need to let someone else dull our sparkle, but we don't always need to outshine others.

In fact, being comfortable with yourself takes work. Hard work. It means letting go of envy and comparison. Gosh do I live in that "Comparison" fear space....a lot!

That stupid tiny voice in my head telling me that I am not good enough...smart enough, thin enough....pretty enough......N.O.T. ENOUGH!!

If you are still reading this, I want you to put a in the comments below. Remember when snack milk was just a quarter per week? I used to save up my allowance to help a girl out in my class that had less money than my family. And believe me....we were country poor, so I can only imagine what this amazingly sweet spirit went without.

She was teased by the other kids for having outdated hand-me-down clothes. But she always made me feel special. Like I belonged. Like I was loved. 25 cents didn't feel like payment enough for her.

Years after we graduated from school and started our adult lives she reached out to me to let me know how much that milk money meant to her. That there were days that was the only thing that resembled something to eat for her. I had no idea how bad their family had it because she wasn't going to tell.

I know in my heart that it was a small thing, but here she was making me feel big again. Lifting me up after all of those years.

Man...I want to be just like her when I grow up.

Anyone else glad Tiger King isn't the "IT" show anymore? Ha! It great to get outside and get fresh air to lift your spirits, but let's be honest here it's HAWT!
