Fatal Harbor Area Collision - Community help is needed 09/26/25:

A $25,000 reward is being offered by LAPD to anyone who can provide crucial information on a fatal hit-and-run traffic collision that occurred Yesterday (09/25/25).

The incident occured shortly before 1 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway near Western Avenue.

Two vehicles are said to be involved in the collision that caused the motorcycle rider to wreck. A silver van is believed to be the cause of the rider's sudden movement to avoid collision; he then collided with an "older pickup truck" that would have sustained collision damage.

The victim is a family member to one of our cherished Admins of the ANKR PRESS page.
We are joining the plea the for assistance and urging anyone with information, footage, etc. to please come forward to LAPD for this investigation.

The victim was identified only as a 35-year-old man.

Harbor Gateway 07/23/25:

At least one is struck in a shooting that has just occurred in front of the Walmart on 190th Street and Normandie Avenue.

LAPD has just arrived on scene to find a male victim, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, in front of the Walmart entrance.

Two suspects were last seen on foot in the parking lot.

This is a developing story. Please avoid the area.

Five-Way Intersection (Anahem and Gaffey Streets) 07/13/25:

There are believed to be three victims in an attempted shooting that has occurred in the area of Anaheim and Gaffey streets; none of them appear to be injured at this time.

Approximately 2:20 p.m., LAPD received reports of a shooting that had occurred in the area with victims standing by in multiple locations.

Upon arrival, LAPD located multiple victims without injuries and received information that a shotgun was used to commit this shooting.

LAPD is still actively investigating this incident.

Wilmington 07/09/25:

As many as 15 people are reported missing following a tunnel collapse in the area of Figueroa Street and Lomita Boulevard.

Additional units are en route to assist with a technical rescue.

This is an active multi causality incident; please avoid the area until further notice.

San Pedro 07/06/25:

Los Angeles Fire Department is requesting police backup on the 100 block of North Arboles Court; after responding to a small fire and having fireworks shot at them.

This is an active incident.

17/06/2025

San Pedro - 110 Freeway and Channel Street 06/16/25:

A tractor-trailer truck has overturned on the 110 Northbound Freeway near the Channel Street on-ramp, according to Los Angeles Fire Department.

There is believed to be one patient that has not been accessed yet.

The truck is allegedly blocking three lanes and all lanes are currently shut down on the 110 Northbound.

Expect delays and use another route until further notice.

More updates will be given if available.

San Pedro 06/15/25:

An overturned-vehicle collision has just occurred in the area of First Street and Western Avenue; LAPD is redirecting traffic from the scene.

There are currently no details on any potential injuries that may have occurred.

Please stay clear of the area to avoid delays to your commute.

San Pedro 06/12/25:

LAPD officers are re-deploying in the area of Fourth and Gaffey Streets; after a fight broke out amongst demonstrators from the earlier protest.

LAPD initially chose to recall units from the demonstration as it had remained peaceful.

The cause of the re-deployment is due to rising tensions among a select few.

We are monitoring.

San Pedro 04/20/25:

At least two injured in a traffic collision that involved two motorcycles and a vehicle on First and Gaffey Streets.

LAFD is calling for a second Advanced-Life-Support ambulance.

There are currently no updates on the condition of the victims.
