San Pedro 08/18/26:

Los Angeles Police and Fire Department are currently investigating an incident that left one individual unresponsive at the base of a cliff near Point Fermin Park.

The call was dispatched around 2:40p.m., Tuesday afternoon.

LAFD is currently establishing a recovery operation for the affected individual and a canopy has been requested to the location.

There are no official details being released at this time as this is an active investigation.

This is currently unclear if this is related to any previous incidents that were dispatched yesterday.

Please avoid the area until further notice.

San Pedro 07/27/26:

Both LAFD and LAPD resources are in the area of Point Fermin Park in regards to a medical emergency that is happening on an offshore boat.

Los Angeles Fire Department initially requested to have the area cleared so an air unit would be able to land for a medical transport.

They have since changed their strategy and will use land transportation after they board the boat and bring the patient back to land.

There is no threat to the public. Please avoid the area until further notice.

Long Beach 05/25/26:

At least one is trapped and multiple others are injured following a wrong-way driver collision on the westbound side of the Long Beach International Gateway Bridge.

The accident occurred shortly before 12:30am and has been reported to involve as many as four vehicles.

Long Beach Fire Department have reported at least four patients with various injuries.

According to California Highway Patrol, a SIG alert has been issued for at least one hour as all lanes of traffic are currently stopped.

This is developing.

Redondo Beach 05/03/26:

Numerous citizens are reporting an “active shooter” situation at the Redondo Beach Pier.
They are reporting a helicopter in the area; making announcements to immediately evacuate the pier.

It is also rumored to be a hostage situation.

These are unconfirmed reports however we can confirm a large police presence at the pier.
This is developing.

San Pedro 04/05/26:

LAFD is currently on scene of a recovery operation at Point Fermin Park.

Air, water, and land resources are currently on scene attempting to find the best solution to recovering the patient.

LA County Coroner is also being requested at this time.

This is an active incident, please avoid the area until further notice.

San Pedro 02/21/26:

LAFD is currently on scene of a structure fire on the 600 block of S Centre Street.

Approximately 10:50p.m., LAFD announced they have a "knock down" (extinguished fire) in the rear kitchen of the Happy Diner restaurant.

Multiple companies were responding to assist with a possible fire attack and evacuation, but they have since been cancelled due to a quick containment.

LAFD will remain on scene to ensure the fire is completely out and to air out the smoke.

Residents above the diner are being advised to shelter in place.

Please avoid the area until further notice.

LOST DOG!!!
Tanya was just adopted and ran away from adopter at Harbor Shelter parking lot. She ran toward the freeway from Gaffey. Her leash is still on her. Please do not chase! She will run.
