COUPLE IN FLORIDA IVF MIXUP REACH AGREEMENT WITH BIOLOGICAL PARENTS - A central Florida couple who made headlines after learning the baby they welcomed was not genetically related to them have reached a custody agreement with their daughter's biological parents.
Tiffany Score and Steven Mills already sued their Orlando IVF clinic last year, that produced and stored there viable embryos for help starting their family. In April 2025, Score was allegedly implanted with what she thought was one of those embryos. But on Dec. 11, 2025, when the couple, who are both White, welcomed daughter Shea Score Mills, they saw the baby didn't look like either of them.
The couple found their daughter's biological parents through genetic testing because they felt it was the right thing to do however, have no plans to give her up. A representative for the couple said they plan to focus on their child and on a burgeoning relationship with the "genetic parents" who will remain anonymous
