Beyonce was in Atlanta for The Cowboy Carter tour. Five nights. 40 to 50 THOUSAND people each night. The city was on fire 🔥 ‼️ and my business mind was SPINNING !
Hotels? Booked out.
Restaurants? Packed.
Uber surge? Real.
Western boutiques? Sold out of cowboy hats, boots, bolo ties—you name it.
And let’s not even talk about the travel. Flights were full. People flew in from all over the country. Some even internationally. The gas stations and truck stops were PACKED!
You couldn’t walk a block without seeing rhinestones, denim, and a sea of fringe, chaps, and cowboy hats. Beyoncé didn’t just do a show—she brought an entire economy with her.
But this ain’t just Atlanta.
Across the country, the Cowboy Carter tour has already grossed over $332 million from 1.3 million+ tickets. In LA, she did over $55M at SoFi Stadium. In New Jersey, $70M at MetLife. London? Over $61M in six nights. That’s not just record-breaking. That’s legacy-making.
And don’t sleep on the ripple effect.
📍 In Chicago, hotel prices jumped 178%.
📍 In Houston, Airbnb searches spiked 620%.
📍 In city after city, hotel occupancy hit 95%+.
📍 Fashion brands saw spikes—Levi’s stock jumped 20% thanks to her song “Levii’s Jeans.”
Meanwhile, behind the scenes she’s employing hundreds. We’re talking production crews, project managers, dancers, stylists, makeup artists, set designers, lighting techs—the list goes on. This is a full-scale operation, and she’s the CEO.
And get this, Black women-owned micro businesses are THRIVING. Especially the ones who’ve created accessories, apparel, and experiences that celebrate this era.
So while folks are debating whether she's worth the hype....she's filling stadiums. Let me be clear:
Beyoncé isn’t just touring.
She’s stimulating economies, creating jobs, setting fashion trends, and reminding the world—again—what Black women’s influence looks like at scale.
And for every Black girl in the audience, it's a personal reminder of what we can do and become.
This is impact.
This is power.
This is Cowboy Carter.
And I am inspired.
