- YouTube is testing a new feature allowing users to explore recommendations in the comments section. Phrases or words in comments that encourage further exploration will have hyperlinks, leading to a new YouTube search with that term. Although only the platforms determine which words have hyperlinks, creators will still have the option to remove them.

- YouTube posts created on tablets will be visible there now, allowing creators to reach even wider audiences

- YouTube Analytics gets a "Reminders Set" metric that shows how many viewers have set reminders for upcoming live streams or premieres. Find this metric in the Deep Dive section of YouTube Analytics

- Eligible creators can now manage membership offers through Studio Mobile, expanding the options beyond Studio Desktop. Members-only videos will be available on members' home and subscription feeds as well

- YouTube is experimenting with displaying members-only content previews on the home page for viewers who have a strong affinity for the channel

"Since 2019, the creators of the “Life of Luxury” YouTube channel have received their YouTube revenues through company, Pranks Network. The financial issues have occurred between Pranks Network and the “Life of Luxury” creators and not associated with ScaleLab company
ScaleLab has diligently fulfilled all obligations to Pranks Network as specified in contract, including regular and timely payments of revenues from the “Life of Luxury” YouTube channel."

We can’t ignore this situation and therefore feel compelled to provide the general public with clarity and accurate information. We are deeply saddened to learn about the challenges faced by the creators of the "Life of Luxury" channel.

We're sharing some important updates in just a few words:

Claiming or disputing Content ID claims and muting tracks for copyright infringement will now be more convenient on mobile devices through the Creative Studio app.

By the way, resolving copyright issues will soon be easier on the app overall. The platform plans to allow users to trim out claimed content from their videos and submit a counterclaim.

However, if you were hoping for the ability to upload separate covers for your Shorts, we have some bad news: the platform has confirmed that they don't plan to add this feature. So let's continue selecting covers from the best frames of our Shorts.

If there’s a perfect way to start your day, it’s with YouTube ’s latest news — and we have plenty to share. Check these out:

- We’re finally getting Reactions on live streams! The feature will be turned on all eligible channels by default, although only iOS users will be able to send their Reactions for now.

- The platform is also introducing a new metric in the Analytics that’ll show which types of content (regular videos, Shorts, or streams) your subscribers watch the most outside your channel. Don’t get too excited, though — for now, it’s only an experiment available to chosen creators.

- Now, back to live streams. In the coming weeks, eligible creators will get to turn on ad automation on their lives. In other words, you can let YouTube choose when it’s time for that mid-roll (or just keep choosing the time yourself).

- And then there’s a new live stream panel! Good news for everyone who’s into minimalism — it’ll be taking up less space now while maintaining all the features.
