On January 10th, 2019, AirLink 3 at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center took its very first flight.
Since that day, our crew has proudly served both our local community and the Carolinas-bringing remarkable care, and compassionate support to patients and families in their most critical moments.

(SAMPSON COUNTY, NC) – The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has arrested Newton Grove Police Chief Greg Warren. The Sampson County Sheriff's Office requested the SBI’s assistance regarding allegations they received, and the SBI initiated an investigation. As a result, Warren has been taken into custody on the following 7 felony charges:

• 1 Felony Count of Indecent Liberties with a Minor
• 2 Felony Counts of Secret Peeping (G.S. 14-202(e))
• 4 Felony Counts of possessing images derived from Secret Peeping (G.S. 14-202(g))

Warren is being processed at the Sampson County Detention Center and will have a first appearance this week. The Investigation is ongoing, and no additional public information is expected.

Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Calabash Man on Multiple Sexual Exploitation Charges

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Samuel Nicholas White Jr., 35 years old, of Valley Drive in Calabash, on multiple felony charges related to the sexual exploitation of a minor.

White has been charged with:

- 8 counts of Second-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

- 8 counts of Third-Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor

The arrest stems from an investigation conducted as part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, a nationwide initiative dedicated to identifying, apprehending, and prosecuting individuals who exploit children online.

White was processed by detention officers at the Brunswick County Detention Facility, where he is currently being held.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office commends the outstanding work of our Special Victims Unit (SVU) investigators for their diligence, professionalism, and commitment to protecting children in our community.

As always, the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to safeguarding our community and holding offenders accountable.
