We had so much fun celebrating our sweet girl, Emma Jane, today! Can't believe she's 6 years old now! Daddy loves you so much sweets! I'm so proud of you!

One of the greatest men I've ever met went to be with Jesus last night. He was gentle, kind, patient, and humble. Just being around him convicted and inspired me to become a better man, to be more like Jesus. 1 John 4:7 so accurately describes him, "Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God." He loved so deeply. I always felt it. What a man he was! I'm so happy for him that he is face to face with his Savior that he so faithfully served, lived for, and preached about for so many years. Jerry Barnes is a legend that leaves behind a legacy. I'm so thankful that I got to be his grandson these last 14 years. I can't wait to see you again, Papa! We will carry on the legacy!

Once again, I am amazed by this woman! She's an incredible wife, physical mom of 4, spiritual mom to many, teacher, ministry leader, homemaker, and now she's been voted Best Real Estate Agent of HSV, beating out 100s of other agents in a very competitive market! What?! How does she do it?! She is the most impressive person I know! I'm so proud of you, babe! You're just getting warmed up! Love you!

13 years ago, this woman walked down the aisle and joined her life to mine! Every single year has gotten better! From our teens to our thirties, life with you has been heaven on earth. I love this life we've built. Kids to ministry to business, I love all that we get to do together. Happy Anniversary, my love! Years 1-12 were too good to be true. I can't wait to see what God has for us in 13 and beyond!

EMPTY ROOM
Tomorrow, this room will be full of people, and I love gathering with my .church family. I love preaching to them, I love worshipping with them, and I love seeing Jesus transform hearts and lives in this room. It's one of my favorite things. I can't stand to miss it. But tonight it's empty, and I love it even more because it's just me and Him. What I do when this room is empty is way more important than what I do when it's full. What I do when there's no crowd and when I'm not leading or preaching is way more important than what I do when I am. It's what happens when it's just me and Him that fans the flame of what's going to happen tomorrow. .church I can't wait to be with you tomorrow, Jesus is here and He wants to see you.

WHAT A STAFF!!! I've tried to make this post so many times because I can't decide what pics to post and what to say because every single one of them is so amazing! I love all of them so much and I'm so proud of them!
They were insanely fun! Just the life of the party all week. From theme days to obstacles to activities to dancing during breaks to acting like dinosaurs and having shootouts during meals, they absolutely brought the heat and made it an incredible time!
They were servants! From trash bags to clean up to late night set ups and everything in between. They truly washed the feet of this camp by laying their lives to serve this ministry.
They fanned the flame! From affirming during all sessions to worshipping their faces off to praying for students for hours late into the night to worshipping first thing early morning devos, they truly set the example for being a lovesick bride of Jesus!
I love you blue Ts! More than you know! Same time next year for two weeks! Nice On!

WHAT A WEEK!! I live for these moments, to see people encounter the love, kindness, and healing power of Yahweh! It never gets old, it only gets better. Every year I think there's no way it can get any better and then He shows up. He gets better and better and better. He keeps taking High Point from glory to glory to glory! I'm still shaking, crying, laughing at all that Jesus did in one week! We were all marked. Can't wait for 2 weeks next year! High Point 2023 was one for the books!

"The half was not told!" Was honored to spend the weekend with David and Wendy Hilton at Dayton Christian Center! Let me tell you, they are the real deal, they're royalty. They are making earth look like heaven! Their family, their staff, their volunteers, their church are all absolutely incredible, they're all marked by the peace, joy, and love of God! I cannot say enough good things about them and their ministry! Cannot wait to be back with them!
