Meet Amy Hall, a woman who has worn many hats in her life. Formerly a program coordinator for the Tennessee Wildlife Federation, Amy is now the operations assistant to the chief operating officer of “Hook & Barrel Magazine.” She primarily manages print and digital distribution and oversees other operations. Amy is extremely mission driven, and she writes that “Hook & Barrel has an amazing mission of connecting people to a community … This aligns with my mission personally, as well as professionally.”

Madeleine Golob interviews Amy in the latest installment of "Gal Gab." Find out what drives her, how she has risen to the top in a relatively short amount of time and of course, what she’d use to fight a giant.

Season 3: Episode 1 NonHunter to Hunter

Jen Yates and I sat down last year and spoke about how she became the supporter of her husband as he learned how to hunt later in life. We discussed what it was like to not just support him but be able to encourage and grow with him in this new adventure. When asked if she would ever be interested in hunting the answer was not no but it was hesitant on how she would even feel. Turkey was a possibility.
Fast forward one year and here we are with the story of her first hunt. A turkey hunt and I got to be there! Join us as we recap the Michigan Opener of Turkey Season with some tags filled and memories made!

Season 3 begins with Jen Yates who you heard in a Season 2 interview as a nonhunter supporting a new hunter.
Turkey in that episode was one that she thought if she ever hunted that she could try. Well this year we did that and I got to be there for it!
