SeaWorld Orlando coming through with the representation no one else has! Did you know that is a Certified Autism Center? 💭

Sesame Street Land at SeaWorld Orlando has partnered with The International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards to be designated as a Certified Autism Center, where they offer specialized services to guests with autism and other special needs.

There is a designated “Low Sensory Area” between Dolphin Cove and the SeaWorld Rescue Center, and a quiet room for guests who may need a minute to recover from overstimulation 🙋🏻‍♀️ (located inside the Child Care Facility in Sesame Street Land).

Remember that representation is important even if it’s invisible and can’t be paraded around in front of the media. 💭

The other day someone said to me that they’d never know this was a hard time of year for me, so this is a reminder that social media does not show the entire picture of someone’s life. ☺️🎄

Most of the content I’ve shared this season is from years past (like these photos). This first Christmas without Stella has hit me harder than imagined, so if you’re looking around at everyone’s social media and feeling like you’re the only one who’s struggling right now, you’re not alone. 💔

⭐️ 9 - The Grinch! There are two opportunities to meet The Grinch, first at the designated Grinch Meet and Greet spot in Seuss Landing (this option is free). To get better lighting and more one-on-one time with the Grinch, book the Grinch and Friends Character Breakfast for a separately ticketed event (photo shown here!)

5 THINGS THAT AREN’T COMING WITH ME INTO 2024 ✨👇🏻

1. People pleasing. I’m done saying no to myself so I can say yes to others (ps - most often those others won’t even recognize your sacrifice for them).

2. People who are dismissive or avoidant when I try to communicate feelings, emotions or boundaries. 🚩Red flag. If you’re dodging questions or ignoring a boundary I set, you don’t truly care about me. I don’t care what I allowed in the past, try me today.

3. Limiting beliefs. Sis, you gotta be a little delusional to manifest those dreams. Believe it’s going to happen. It’s already happening. The players have been set in motion. There’s nothing you can do to mess it up. IT’S ALREADY YOURS. ✨

4. People who aren’t supportive of my goals and dreams. If you be laughing at me when I tell you a dream, prepare for my exit. Stop projecting your own unhealed parts onto me. I did the work and I won’t let anyone - anyone - undo it. (See also: number 2.)

5. Anyone, at all, who disrupts my central nervous system and interferes with my healing process. Take your bad vibes to therapy instead of to my circle of inner peace. ✌🏻
