WANTED MURDER SUSPECT CAPTURED IN STUTTGART, ARKANSAS

The Pine Bluff Police Department is pleased to announce the successful capture of Dicoreon Ford, an 18-year-old suspect wanted for Capital Murder in connection with the fatal shooting of a 14-year-old juvenile on July 19, 2025, at 2501 South Maple Street in Pine Bluff.

Ford was apprehended this evening in Stuttgart, Arkansas through a joint operation involving Pine Bluff Police Department Detectives, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators, the Arkansas County Sheriff’s Office, and the Stuttgart Police Department.

We are grateful to all participating agencies for their teamwork, dedication, and commitment to public safety. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the community members who came forward with information that directly contributed to Ford’s arrest.

This arrest marks a significant step toward justice for the young victim and their grieving family.

The Pine Bluff Police Department remains committed to holding violent offenders accountable and ensuring the safety of our community.

The Stuttgart School District is pleased to announce the whole district will participate in the Community Eligibility Provision for the 2025-2026 School Year. This means ALL STUDENTS will be provided meals at NO CHARGE regardless of eligibility at, Park Avenue Elementary, Meekins Middle School, Stuttgart Junior High and Stuttgart High School.
