This isn’t just your average grandpa😅

Grandpa went from rotary phones to FaceTime… so in other words he’s seen it all (and still doesn’t trust any of it). He believes fried chicken cures everything even Wi-Fi issues. To him, TikTok is a clock and streaming means fishing.🎣

Still wears his cap to the side and talks like it’s 1979… but he’s learning. Slowly.

If you didnt know, the “Aqua” 8s debuted in 1993, and were not an instant fan favorite. The bright teal and purple accents were considered too bold and too unorthodox for many fans at the time especially on a basketball shoe.

When they retroed in 2007, they left out a few of the OG details:
• The purple was slightly off🤔
• The midsole paint was more muted
• And they lacked the same bold iridescence as the 1993 originals

Collectors were vocal about the differences which led to a much more faithful retro in 2015. Here we are again in 2025 with yet another release. What do you think?👀
