Omar Cham is a young professional barber from Sukuta who now lives in Stuttgart, Germany.

Omar Cham has barbed many people from Gambia, and he extends his vision internationally. His dedication and commitment are inspiring for young generations to earn a decent life.

Omar Cham is the breadwinner of his family, and his passion for hairstyles is beyond imagination. The talent he possesses flows with the magical machine of hairstyles.

I remember when he was in Gambia, his salon was always neat and clean, and his smile brought comfort to his customers.

If I have the opportunity to travel, I will come over to your salon, brother Omar, because I understand that, from an economic point of view, anything I pay you is going back home.

Tree Planting Exercise at the Sukuta Salagi Forest and in the community
Date: 21st August, 2022

The Sukuta VDC, Sukuta Youth Development Committee and partners are calling on all Sukutarians to join this tree planting exercise. Individuals, households, Kabilos can donate or pledge in form of seedlings/cash.
Let’s all make sure there is a rep from every household to plant trees.
Let’s do this for our community. For generations to come.

Medical Items donated by Isatou Cham in Minnesota, USA, were presented to Sukuta Health Centre on 7th June 2022 by the VDC Health sub-committee.

Other items presented were;
1. Bedsheets donated by Horeja Touray
2. Gloves donated by Lamin Njie
3. 45 bedsheets equivalent to D5,000 were also donated by Mr. Alieu Bah.

The VDC and community stakeholders are very appreciative of this timely gesture. These items will go a long way in improving the healthcare service delivery at Sukuta Health Centre.

The Stage is set for the VDC dialogue with community stakeholders, the newly elected NAM for Sannehmentereng Constituency Hon. Fatou Cham, the Chief, Alkali, youth leaders, etc on the development matters, peace and collective work for the betterment of the community of Sukuta.

EX FOOTBALL PLAYER HAS SHOWN AN INTEREST IN SYSA HIERACHY

Sources have revealed that, coach Richard....Abdou K. Cham will be contesting for the upcoming SYSA PRESIDENCY on Saturday.

He is the only candidate to shown interest in serving the presidential position. The former Dembadu wing back has been embarking on developing so many young players within Sukuta and beyond.

Mr Cham has been in Football Administration for the past years, he is currently a very outstanding match commissioner in our National League First and Second Division. As at now he has been the only candidate who really shown interest in the position of SYSA PRESIDENTCY.
