Before Christ, plumbing was just a paycheck. I was fixing leaks while my life was leaking purpose.

But then God got a hold of me.

Now every job site is a mission field. Every tool is a testimony. Every customer is a soul God cares about.
I still run pipe. I still replace water heaters. But I don’t just carry a wrench I carry the Word.

He didn’t just change my career. He changed me.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NASB)

It’s not about having the newest torch, the fanciest press tool, or the cleanest van — it’s about how you use what you’ve got.
Excellence isn’t bought at the supply house… it’s built in the heart.

Jesus told us, “He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much.” (Luke 16:10 NASB)

That means we don’t take shortcuts.
We don’t abuse our tools.
We don’t waste materials or time.

In this trade, stewardship is our testimony.

Today is National Plumber’s Day – April 25

Before the first pipe wrench was ever forged…
Before water systems became smart…
God already knew He’d call men and women to serve through the trades.

Plumbers don’t just fix leaks.
We protect families.
We guard health.
We build communities.
And we do it with calloused hands and hearts full of purpose.

At The Plumbing Standards, we believe that excellence in the field is a form of worship.
Proverbs 22:29 says:
“Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”

That’s the level we strive for — not just to be seen, but to serve with honor before our King.
