Some communities and families need all the help they can get. I have received more calls about depression, illness, and deaths this past week than I want to claim. Grateful that our national leadership team recognizes the impact the pandemic continues to have on our families, especially with the new variants.

A few weeks back, we had a chance meeting with two of the most amazing medical doctors in Cincinnati.

Dr. Steve Woodle was perched on his stool explaining the transplantation process as a Professor of Surgery at UC Health when we asked several questions. Our main question was, "What impact the decision to 'get or reject vaccinations' had on their outcomes for Black and Brown patients?" Having done our homework beforehand, we were so in sync that he introduced us to Dr. Madison Cuffy, an Assistant Professor. Their credentials were impeccable, their bedside manner stellar, and their tone refreshing.

This dialogue was one of the most transparent, authentic, and informational discussions on Med-bonics we had to date. So now we want them to have it with you.

Our goal:

1). Explain the art of Transplantation

2). Dispel the myths around the gift of donorship in Black and Brown communities.

3). Explain how COVID-19 and its variants have impacted their outcomes and the role the vaccine plays in their world.
