MAKING EMERGENCY FITTINGS Here's another automotive machining tip from ENGINE PRO. Tom Nichols from Automotive Machine & Supply in Joshua, TX says, "In the event you come up missing a set screw or oil galley plug, and need to finish a job, one can be quickly made by threading the head of a stainless-steel hex-socket head cap screw. Then cut off and file the smaller original threaded portion of the cap screw flat or to a pointed tip, to suit your needs. For the picture example, an M8 x1.25 set screw was made from a 10-24 hex-socket head cap screw." Many more tips at:

Another marketplace deal! Someone posted this engine for sale and said it was an LR4 which is a Gen 3 but as soon as I saw the block I knew it was a Gen 4 block and 799 heads. Just finished swapping the Trans in this F350. Most people won't believe this but WOW this thing RIPS! Even with this massive lift and steel bumpers it still hauls ass. One of the fastest trucks I've ever driven. 6.4 sequential turbo

This is one of the most common issues we come across on used vehicles. The sway bar end links or stabilizer links as they are referred to by some are prone to wear and they usually don't last but a few years under normal driving conditions. If you hear a popping or clunking noise when going over bumps then this is likely the cause.

L83 Cam Swap & AFM/DOD delete!
In this video I perform a Cam swap as well as AFM/DOD delete on this 2017 Silverado with the 5.3 L83 engine. The 5th gen LS engines are a little more tricky to work on when it comes to Cam swaps but this one came out very nice!
