Why “Better Together”?
The Better Together Podcast is produced and distributed by the National Association of Free Will Baptists. Why “Better Together”? In a 2019 nationwide survey, the number one request of Free Will Baptist pastors was more training and resources. The Better Together Podcast was born out of that request, based on the conviction that we do everything well and to the glory of God.
However, the Better Together Podcast is not just for pastors. God has called every Christian to follow Him, and in this podcast you will be challenged to answer His call upon your life wherever you may find yourself.
We are convinced God wishes every Christian to be involved in His ministry, both in the world and in the local church. Whatever your vocation, you have been gifted by the Lord for the ministry to which He has called you, and it is crucial to be good stewards of those gifts. Let us come together to use those gifts with excellence.
The Better Together Podcast consists of short, practical, and informative interviews in which people share what they have learned from their ministry. These men and women speak to us from the “trenches” about what has and hasn’t worked for them. The Better Together podcast is published weekly. Access and subscribe to the website through www.nafwb.org as well as our various social media outlets (Facebook and Twitter) and via iTunes. Many podcasts will correspond with available resources, an article in ONE Magazine, book recommendations, or any number of tools for your ministry.
While interviews will be of interest to pastors and church leaders, any person interested in the work of the Lord will find something at the Better Together Podcast. From how a church can find, support, and keep a pastor to practical suggestions to enhance outreach at your church, Better Together has something for everyone. Something you would like to see and hear? Contact us at [email protected].
At a time when so much is unhelpful and unhealthy on social media, The Better Together Podcast is different. Remember, we can do far more together than we can apart. Let’s come together and be Better Together.
