Last night I was watching Emma and couldn't help but think it's such a gorgeous movie—an apple for the eye. The colors and set design of the movie are so beautiful that I was thinking of ways to incorporate it for a project.

I’m (Dessa) Kay!

I believe that with the right social media strategies, your business can reach the furthest corners of the earth (as long as it has a wifi connection 😅) & your ideal customers will be able to discover you. 💖

I would think about the ripple effect 〰️ when you help a small business, they will in return help more people (providing jobs & solving the problems or their customers).

P.S. I went into business school, ran my own business, and worked for an international digital agency with clients listed in Forbes.

I haven’t created a poster in such a long time that it took me about half a day to make this one. 🙈

🤔 What do you usually do when in a creative rut?

👉 Here's a tip:

⏺ try doing nothing for 30 minutes (get off the internet)

⏺ relax yourself or take a walk outside. You might just catch some inspiration

⏺ when you finally grabbed the creative juice 🍊, time to get back to work 💪

Hello! I’m finally putting a face on this brand for the first time. I’m Kim and I’m the designer behind kim + kay.

Quick facts about me: I turned 23 in September, I’m graduating from university on January, and I consider myself more as a crafty person than artsy.

Unlike my sister, I don’t do social media so much. If you try to search my name, you can find very little about me on the internet. That’s why I haven’t introduced myself here before.

But time’s changing! And I feel like showing up online will make the brand feel more personal, more human— which is the direction we want to go for.

That’s about me for now and I’ll post more about myself in the future posts 😊

until you reach that door on the top which leads to your “vision”.

📕 In a business plan, we call this part VMOG.

It’s short for vision. mission. objective. goals.

You should create one for your business.

Finally had the chance to take part in the 🙌🏽

Sipping on a bubble tea is for me, one of the fun things to do. It’s exciting whether you get a boba on the next sip or maybe two 🥤

For this design brief, I played around the shapes found in the main logo and made a pattern of it 😁

We’ll be joining more in different design challenges this year and We can’t wait to see what we’ll come up with 👯‍♀️🖍
