With Centre County being added to the counties on the Stay at Home Order by the Governor today, we have been receiving a lot of questions from residents and others. While we , like you are learning our way through this process, we will always try to help keep you informed with what we know and with what information we have.
- YES ,grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations etc.. will remain open. There was a mad rush again today on stores with the announcement and we had multiple people, especially some of our older residents, trying to get groceries fearful that the stores wouldn't be opened tomorrow. Tomorrow the stores will still be opened and operating. These businesses and their employees have been doing a fantastic job keeping up with the demand and rush!
- NO,there is NOT A CURFEW. We had questions regarding this and again there is not a curfew.
- NO, officers wont pull you over to question you about whether you are going to the store, work or taking care of other essential business.
- YES, you can go for a run, walk, hike or take part in other outside activity.
-YES, restaurants will still be providing their takeout or delivery food services. They have been wonderful and a lot of them have been stepping up to help the community. If you can lets try and help them through this time.
We are learning with you as this goes. We like many of you are balancing a work life along with keeping our families moving along, explaining things to our children that we don't have answers to ourselves. We will do everything we can to keep you updated on any changes to anything or clarification to any of the things listed above. Please refer to the States Stay at Home Order guidelines.
