According to the BBC, 5 Trump administration is recommending a one-day prison sentence for , the former Kentucky police officer convicted in connection to the raid that led to ’s death. _________________________________________ A federal jury found Hankison guilty of violating Taylor’s civil rights by using excessive force during the March 2020 raid. While the charge could carry a life sentence, the U.S. Justice Department is asking the judge to sentence him to just one day — a sentence he would effectively already have served. _________________________________________ Attorneys for Taylor’s family strongly criticized the recommendation, calling it “an insult to the life of Breonna Taylor.” _________________________________________ Hankison was the only officer charged and convicted for his role in the raid, which sparked national protests. Though prosecutors admit he helped carry out the warrant, they emphasized that he did not fire the shot that killed Taylor and should not be held responsible for her death. _________________________________________ In addition to the one-day prison term, the Justice Department is also asking for Hankison to serve three years of supervised release.

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Denise Richards is taking a major step to protect herself. The actress was officially granted a temporary restraining order against her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, after accusing him of repeated physical and emotional abuse.

According to court documents filed Wednesday, Denise didn’t hold back. She detailed several alleged violent incidents, including moments where she claims Phypers not only put hands on her, but threatened to take her life — and his — if she ever went to the cops.

“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom towel rack,” she wrote in the documents, obtained by news outlet TMZ.

The “Diff’rent Strokes” actor is now demanding answers from Coleman’s ex-wife Shannon Price, who recently failed key questions during an A&E lie detector test.⁠

On “Lie Detector: Truth or Deception,” aired July 10th, Price was grilled on allegations that have lingered since Coleman’s sudden 2010 death at age 42. While his death was officially ruled accidental after a fall led to a fatal brain hemorrhage, those closest to him, including Bridges, have long questioned the story.⁠

Bridges, after watching the special, asked during an interview with Access Hollywood, “What is she hiding? What really happened on that day?” He added, “I believe that Gary Coleman deserves to have it really looked into a lot more.” He also revealed that in their final conversation, Coleman expressed concern for his safety around Shannon.⁠

During the polygraph, when asked whether she caused Coleman’s fall, Price responded “no,” but the examiner said “deception indicated.” Earlier responses about violence and withholding aid were deemed inconclusive. Price later said she wasn’t surprised by the results and insisted: “There is a reason I am not in prison. There is a legit reason for that. It’s because they did a thorough investigation.”
