Today we brought pieces of both Matthew’s and my childhood Thanksgiving memories into our home, and we honored my mom by keeping her yearly theme alive for our kids.

Thanksgiving always brings me back to the heart of what matters. It’s not the table it’s the family around it. It’s not the feast it’s the faith behind it.

This year, I’m especially thankful for the blessings God has breathed over our home, the quiet mercies, the answered prayers, the protection we didn’t see, the strength we didn’t know we had, and the joy He continues to pour into us.

And I’ve realized something: the blessings of God aren’t random. They’re found when we walk in genuine faith, when we choose good works over convenience, when we love each other well, and when we commit to building a family that honors Him first.

Thanksgiving is a moment to pause and ask,
Are we a family in unity?
Are we living out our biblical duty at home?
