Wedding ceremonies have been known to many times have a unity event. Sometimes a knot, a candle, a picture, a brand of sorts, and sometimes a vessel with sand poured into it. These events symbolizes the unity of two becoming one.
And then there is this.... washing your significant others feet is one of the most symbolic and intimate moments that can take place.
This shows strength, guidance, forgiveness, and upmost admiration for not just the present moment; but also the past, and the preparation for their future.
