What happened to the tiny pup wearing a tiny cone??! Last Sunday evening, one of our doggies climbed the fence to ‘help’ eat the puppy food🤦🏼♀️ Mr. Green immediately saw an opportunity to nurse (even tho it wasn’t mama) and she turned around and bit him😭 We immediately took him to our local animal ER for stitches. THANKFULLY his eye was okay, this could have been so much worse!! She tore his lower eyelid. I couldn’t risk him playing with his siblings or getting dirt in his wound, so this little special guy had Jonathan and me all to himself! Initially I had him sleeping in a crate at night, which slowly turned into him sleeping in bed with us🤭 I would get in bed, and he’d come right over and start whining… so I’d slide him in under the covers with me… he’d spend all of 10 seconds getting adjusted , and then he was out🥹 He got extra time with Leia too. She was so gentle with him🥹 His poor little eye seems to be healing and I’m actually flying him to Dulles today to meet his forever family🥹 I’m gonna miss him🥺
