Teaching children and adults to sing and/or play like pro’s! Wendy May has over 25 years’ experience singing, preforming and playing guitar in
the entertainment world and music industry. Locally you may have seen her perform at
the Levitt Pavilion, Westport, Waveny Park, New Canaan, regionally at may state and town fairs and all over the tri sta
te area. In addition to her professional band, Wendy has enabled community empowerment through her 12 year long open jam at The Black Duck Cafe, Westport. This special night has included those just learning and notables like Rod Stewards drummer; Carmine Apice and the area’s top professional performers. Having worked with Willie Nelson, and many other notable artists in her own career she loves to share her gifts of music by empowering and inspiring her students to achieve their goals.

Lessons in foundations of technique to help student understand how their vocal instrument works, breathing, dynamics, ear/pitch training, strengthen and expand vocal range to hit bright confident high notes and rich low notes, sense of phrasing, control of timbre, and coach student in professional performance to give them the confidence they need to succeed! Guitar Instruction:
Learn how to play chords to some of students favorite songs, and/or write their own within a chord structure, learn key structure, sacales, how to read and write chord charts, and all the basics of guitar!
