The Karen people have long dreamed of a day when they can hold their own recognized passports, just like other nations, giving them the freedom to travel, work, and study abroad without restrictions. For decades, many Karen have faced challenges due to statelessness, displacement, and lack of official documentation. Gaining a Karen passport would not only be a symbol of identity and sovereignty but also a step toward equal rights, recognition, and dignity for generations of Karen people around the world. It represents hope, justice, and the opportunity to fully participate in the global community.
