🇩🇪 Europe Series | Day 3 🚗🏔️

Today we’re driving from Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen—around 90 km through the breathtaking Bavarian countryside.

On the way, we’re passing through Füssen, the gateway to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle. If you’re planning a visit, don’t miss the beautiful Lechfall Waterfall along with the castle.

The scenic Alpine roads, a cute roadside strawberry stop 🍓, and the charming mountain town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, nestled in the German Alps and known for hosting the 1936 Winter Olympics, made today’s journey truly unforgettable.

Europe Tour – Day 2 🇩🇪🏰

Today I explored the magical Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany! ✨

The castle is about 2 hours from Munich. Take a train from Munich Hbf to Füssen Station, then Bus No. 73 or 78 for a 15-minute ride to Hohenschwangau.

From there, you can walk (30–40 minutes uphill), take a horse carriage, or the shuttle bus, which is the easiest option. The return shuttle ticket costs around €5 per person.

• Children (up to 17 years) – Free

🕘 Opening Hours:
☀️ Summer: 9 AM – 6 PM
❄️ Winter: 10 AM – 4 PM

🇩🇪 Europe Series – Day 2

Our Europe journey officially begins from Germany! ✨

After arriving in Munich yesterday, today we started our road trip. Our apartment is just 300 meters from 📍Baumkirchner Straße From there, we took a 15-minute tram ride to the station 📍Lenbachplatz where we picked up our rental car from SIXT.

Now, for the next 6 days, we’ll be exploring Germany by car! 🚗

Finally, it’s time to begin my Europe journey! Starting from Kolkata Airport with Emirates, flying to Munich via Dubai.

🛫 Dubai → Munich: 6h 45m
⏳ Total journey time (including layover): 14h 20m

This time, I’ll be exploring three beautiful countries—Germany 🇩🇪, Slovenia 🇸🇮, and Switzerland 🇨🇭.
