This morning Pastor Thomas Beavers joined the Rickey Smiley Morning Show live broadcast at Christian Service Mission to encourage Birmingham residents to contribute food relief for those who have been affected by the government shutdown.

The STAR Church is honored to partner with Mayor Randall Woodfin, the City of Birmingham Government and Christian Service Mission to support this effort.

Stop by Christian Service Mission today to contribute to our food relief efforts. But much more help is needed. The drive continues through Thursday, Nov. 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Pull in at 3600 Third Ave S and volunteers will unload your vehicle for you.

Canned foods (vegetables, meats, fruits, soups, etc.), box foods (macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, rice, oatmeal, etc.), toilet paper and paper towels will be accepted.
