CDC Website Updated To Include Claims Suggesting Vaccines Could Be Linked To Autism. Scientists Say the Statements Are False

Dcientific information on the CDC website was quietly replaced this week with language that mirrors long debunked anti vaccine talking points. The updated page now includes bullet points that imply researchers have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism, despite decades of evidence and dozens of high quality studies showing no such link.

According to the Autism Science Foundation, no environmental factor has been studied more thoroughly than vaccines, and the conclusion is consistent across the scientific community. Vaccines do not cause autism. Studies that once claimed otherwise were proven fraudulent or severely flawed.

The new CDC page also suggests that health authorities have ignored research claiming a connection between vaccines and autism. Scientists say this is simply not true and that every credible study has found no relationship.

CNN reports that CDC scientists were blindsided by the website changes and were not involved in drafting or approving the new language. A former CDC director who resigned earlier this year called the updated page a national embarrassment and warned that altering scientific statements to fit political narratives is a threat to public health.

The updated page also includes a footnote that appears tied to a political agreement involving Sen. Bill Cassidy and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a longtime anti vaccine activist. HHS says it is now reviewing and updating the CDC website to restore evidence based information.

This raises serious questions about how public health guidance is being altered, who is making those decisions, and whether scientific agencies are being pressured to insert statements that contradict established research.

What do you think about these changes and the concerns raised by CDC scientists?

BREAKING: FAU has reinstated two of the three professors suspended over their social media comments about Charlie Kirk, after an outside investigation found their posts were constitutionally protected speech and did not violate university policy.

The suspensions drew national attention and sparked debates about academic freedom, political pressure, and free speech on campus. Now we know exactly what was said, and why FAU ultimately reversed course.

What Actually Happened

After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, three FAU faculty members made online comments reacting to the news. Complaints poured in, and the university placed all three on paid administrative leave while hiring a former Florida Supreme Court justice to investigate.

Here Are the Exact Comments Under Review:

Rebel Cole (College of Business)
Cole posted a message aimed at Kirk’s political opponents, not Kirk himself:

“We are going to hunt you down.
We are going to identify you.
Then we are going to make you radioactive to polite society.
And we will make you both unemployed and unemployable.”

He was accused of advocating violence and using inflammatory language, but investigators found the posts were made on a personal account, off-duty, with no impact on university operations.

Karen Leader (Art History / Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies)
Leader shared multiple posts criticizing Kirk and added short comments such as:

“This was Charlie Kirk.”

Her posts focused on issues like race, gender, guns, and LGBTQ rights. FAU received heavy backlash from the public, but investigators determined her posts were also personal, off-the-clock, and protected by the First Amendment.

Kate P***k (English Department) – Still under review
P***k confirmed she wrote the following on Threads in response to a discussion about Kirk’s death:

“Delighting in the death of someone who wished death on us isn’t sick. It’s self-defense.”

Her case remains open.

The Outcome

The investigator concluded that the speech by Cole and Leader was protected citizen speech on matters of public concern. FAU officially reinstated both professors with no discipline.
P***k’s case is still pending.

The report also warned the university that suspending faculty over controversial speech could have a chilling effect on academic freedom.

"You'd make a good pr******te." West Melbourne Man Arrested on Lewd Conduct Charge After Alleged Grooming of Juvenile Victim

West Melbourne, FL – Nick Anthony Perez, 28, of West Melbourne, was arrested Monday on a warrant charging him with lewd or lascivious conduct with a person under 16, according to Brevard County jail records.

Perez was taken into custody on Nov. 18 and booked into the Brevard County Jail. He is being held on a $15,000 bond.

The charge stems from an investigation by the West Melbourne Police Department, detailed in an affidavit for arrest warrant filed earlier this month. According to the document, the alleged incidents occurred at Perez's apartment and involved a juvenile victim who reported repeated instances of inappropriate physical contact beginning when she was younger.

The Detective described the behavior as including unwanted hugs, kisses on the face and neck, and instances of Perez spooning the victim on a couch while touching her back and neck. The victim also reported receiving expensive gifts from Perez and hearing comments about her appearance, including a statement that she "would be a good pr******te" and could charge for her looks, the affidavit states.

The victim disclosed the incidents to authorities on Nov. 8 after declining an invitation to Perez's residence, citing discomfort from prior interactions. Perez was contacted for an interview but did not respond, according to the document.

The West Melbourne Police Department has not released additional details on the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities at (321) 723-0971.
