I’ve been wrestling with this idea for a long time. There are so many layers to what I’ve been processing about this and why I want to do it - personally and professionally. The last year has only confirmed the nudge and I’ve finally decided the time is now.

Initially, I thought about sharing some of the why on this decision and what’s been going on that led me here, especially considering I own a videography business, but frankly, it doesn’t matter.

The one thing I’ll say is the only reason I’ve waited as long as I have is the fear that pops up when I think of this question - “How do you run a video production company without some level of social media presence?”

I don’t know and I guess we’ll find out. But fear of the unknown has been the cowardly excuse for me for too long.

I’m eager to see what’s waiting for me on the other side of this and excited about what’s on the horizon for Cub Bear Creative and work as an independent filmmaker. I’m so grateful to all the clients who continue to entrust Cub Bear Creative to tell their stories and I’m looking forward to see what’s coming in 2025.

Working with Insight Women’s Center over the last 4 years has been such a joy. I'm not sure I've seen any organization expand services or community reach like they have. Their newest venture, Selah Home, is filling the gap of one of the greatest needs single, pregnant, adult women are facing in the state of Kansas.

Not only will this home help residents find rest and safety for themselves and their babies, but they also receive extensive support to help them along in their journey.

I continue to be so grateful that the team at Insight Women's Center trust Cub Bear Creative to tell their stories!
