The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great pride in Columbus, featuring two remarkable events — a vibrant parade on the Dublin Bridge and a grand ceremony at the Ohio Statehouse. 🇮🇳✨

At the Statehouse, we were honored to welcome Mr. C.M. Bhandari, Former IFS Officer and Ambassador, as the Chief Guest.

Both celebrations were meticulously organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA), bringing together community spirit, culture, and patriotism in a memorable way.

On this historic day, we salute the visionaries, soldiers, diplomats, scientists, and everyday citizens who have built the India we stand proud of today.

From the courageous soldiers guarding our borders, to the diplomats building bridges across continents, to the brave hearts ensuring peace in every home—you are the silent pillars of our sovereignty.

This year, Operation Sindoor and countless other humanitarian and security missions remind us that India’s might lies not only in strength but also in compassion—bringing our people home safely, aiding those in crisis, and standing firm for peace in an uncertain world.

Our freedom is safeguarded not just by guns and grit, but by wisdom, diplomacy, and unity.

As we work toward Viksit Bharat by 2047, let us also strive for a Greener, Safer, Stronger India—where patriotism is measured by the progress we make and the planet we protect.
