Got sober basically just to survive but tbh after the first two years my life got big. Sometimes I forget I used to not be invited places because of how poorly I looked and now I get invited to incredible places and it never would have happened without AA. Stupid grateful to be here.

Learned every valuable thing in my life today from AA for fun and for free. Speaking s**t into existence isn’t the same as acting it. Took 16 years of grinding it out to make a life I enjoy waking up to. I used to be so uncomfortable in my own skin and in my own life and today I wouldn’t trade places with anyone.

I will never sell a course on how to get/stay sober - if you gate keep what was freely given to you you’re 🤮 sobriety gave me the sickest life I couldn’t even have dreamt up if you asked me to.

Remembered the last time I was in a South American taxi before I got sober I got beat up by 3 cops and all my stuff got jacked! Today it’s much different! Why are you staying sober today?

Just a little over 5,000 days ago I was picking between spending my last dollars on Del taco or on another fix. Took out the drugs and now I can buy a damn Del Taco. Grateful for the gift of a life sobriety gave me.

Went back to my roots this weekend and used the skills early sobriety gave me. I became a man when I got sober and learned new things and how to get confidence the hard way.
