I'm halfway to my goal of raising $8,585!!!
On October 26th, the very day of the "Men Wear Pink Walk" my mother would have been celebrating her 85th birthday. Sadly, she passed away in 1985 at the very young age of 45.
In honor of my mother’s memory, and for the foundation that may have saved her life today, I am hoping to raise $8,500 (if not more!)
I have over 10,000 connections with people . According to my calculation if EVERY SINGLE ONE of you were kind enough to donate just .85 CENTS I’d be able to reach that goal! If you can pledge more, of course I’d appreciate that tremendously. $8.50? $85.00? Any donation is welcome and appreciated. I’d love any donation that has an ‘85’ in it! (like $1.85 or $85.85). If you’d prefer, a donation of $10.26 would be great as well for her 10/26 birthday!
I’ve joined the American Cancer Society as an ambassador for the Men Wear Pink campaign to help raise awareness and funds to help the American Cancer Society end breast cancer as we know it, for everyone. The more people who support this cause, the bigger our impact will be in helping to save lives from breast cancer.
I’m asking those close to me to support my efforts through my personal fundraising website: http://main.acsevents.org/goto/bruceweinstein
With your help and the help of others supporting me, the American Cancer Society can conduct innovative research, educate people on how to reduce their risk for breast cancer or detect it early, and provide crucial patient programs like free rides to treatment, or places to stay when treatment is far from home.
Your donation could help someone who is currently dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, those who may face a future diagnosis, and those who may avoid a diagnosis altogether thanks to education and prevention.
Thank you in advance. When we come together, we can drive real change to provide real support.
