You could tell that she wanted to talk to someone for so long! 🥺💔 Backstory ::: I just finished my parternal leave and have started back at work. This was the first long work day that I have had to work since Kay had our daughter. (over 6 weeks ago) We have gotton so used to being together, so it has been sad to go back to work. Obviously, I have to go, and we know that, but it is sad that the days of waking up every morning and feeding ellie a bottle and watching her do tummy time are over. Kay is not going to go back to work because on top of her auto-immune conditions, it makes more sense to stay home because the price of child care is horrible. So at least she will get to be there with Ellie each day. When I got home, I was so excited to see Kay and hear about her day, and as you could see, she was so excited to talk to me too! Over dinner she chattered nonstop about her day, and I could just tell that she was so excited to have someone to talk to! ❤️ Maybe one day I can find a job where I can be home more and see Ellie grow up more also!
