Amazing couple and amazing time!

“DJ Equis was so awesome! We had the best time on our dancefloor and hearing all our special songs throughout the day because of him!! Great transitions for songs/ genres- he played all the wedding hits, and then some great party anthems. They were so great to work with! We totally wish we could host another big party just to work with them again!

He and his wife work as a team to ensure you have a seamless experience throughout your whole wedding planning process. They met with us multiple times before our wedding to make sure they knew what songs needed to be played and when, how they can incorporate music into your ceremony, and what vibe we wanted for our dancefloor. The equipment worked great throughout the whole day (The portable speaker for the outdoor ceremony, and the portable microphones that we used for the ceremony and speeches *our videographer said it was the best he had ever seen for ceremonies*), and the primary sound system was great! His set up is very professional looking.” S+D

To start, they replied to my inquiry same day (which is so rare with wedding vendors!!) and then after our first zoom meeting I instantly felt they were amazing people! From that point on, the booking process & music selection process was such a breeze & so easy! They truly have the best interest of the couple at heart and you can feel that they love what they do!! Beautiful wedding all around! The couple, the family, the vendors, all of it!❤️

“We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ pairing than Juan and Hedieh. From day one they were so communicative and ready to make sure our goals were met and that we were a good fit. Communication was always so easy and laid back. They even worked with us on our budget which we appreciated so much.

When it came to the big day Hedieh was amazing at coordinating during the ceremony and reception and made sure to check in with us throughout the night and even offered to get us things if we needed it, just so beyond helpful.

Juan was amazing, like seriously AMAZING at gauging the crowd and making sure the songs made everyone get on the dance floor and stay there. It was a blast all night and the dance floor was never empty which is what we wanted for our night. Overall our experience with Equis was 10/10 and we will recommend them to anyone who is looking for an amazing DJ experience.

“Our experience with Juan and his beautiful wife Hedieh was wonderful from the very first message. He answered every question I had and was very responsive. When I had questions he took the time to listen to what I wanted for our daughter’s dream wedding and assured me he wants to make it her best day also. The week before the wedding he talked to my daughter about all her hopes and wants for the ceremony and reception, he listened and put her at ease and she came to me in tears about how happy she was and he's got this and I am so relaxed and excited. They both have great attention to detail and are extremely professional. He followed through with all of our music requests and gave us very helpful advice throughout the planning process, the wedding went flawless. Everyone had a great time dancing and he kept the party going the whole night. My daughter and all her friends and family danced from the first song nonstop through to the last one of the night. I feel I have to mention this was a dry wedding, (no alcohol). He did such an amazing job feeling the crowd and keeping them on the dance floor.

I hate writing a novel but they deserve it. They are such an amazing husband and wife team and Juans wife Hedieh came and found me before the wedding to introduce herself and I was a mess and my daughter was nervous and worried we were running late and she talked to me with such kindness and compassion and said take me to your daughter. She walked up to her and jumped right in and completely put her at ease. My mommas heart was overwhelmed with gratitude for her. To be honest she continued throughout the whole wedding like this and she was there for anything I needed, she was my secret wedding day planner. What dj company does that? They do. They became family by the end of the night and we will be forever grateful for them on making my baby girls most important day PERFECT! Thier wedding was perfect and Juan and Hedieh were one of the biggest parts and the reason why.! I highly recommend them and wish I could give them 100 out of 10. “I think the strength of this DJ duo comes from them being a married couple themselves, the know exactly what a wedding needs.

Our wedding party was a combination of my wife’s Hispanic family, and my White family, and this team found the perfect blend of music that had everyone dancing, it made the night perfect!
We realized during the ceremony that the dance stereo set up was in a different area from the dinner area, but Juan had brought a backup phone loaded with our playlists, and was able to hook up to the dining area’s speakers, a seriously smooth last minute save!

“I booked Juan about 6 weeks out from my multi-ethnic wedding. I’m clueless about music and at the same time very particular about it. I was able to give him a list of 25 songs and he extrapolated that into an amazing playlist for my wedding. He was also completely willing to add in Bollywood songs as well. Not only does he come with advanced equipment and fun lighting, but he also mixes the songs on the spot! Every song he chose was an absolute banger!

He kept close communication with me throughout the process and was very easy and accommodating to work with. His wife (Hedieh) is also a wedding/day-of coordinator which was a huge plus. My coordinator was new to the job so Hedi was able to fill in the gaps where my coordinator may have lacked experience. She saved us so many times throughout the night and kept us on schedule. Their expertise is clear. These two contributed to the best day of my life and I hope I get to work with them again someday.” — Tania & Matt
