Our team collaborated with the folks over at Community Action, Inc. to produce a short film called “Everyday Racism” which raised awareness about the need for coexistence and respect within the community.

We are so proud of this project, which went on to win a Telly Award in 2021.

Drywater Productions worked with Beth Tallon of Community Action to develop the concept, as well as the look and feel of this short film. We filmed the interviews over a series of several days, capturing all sorts of unique stories.

“Everyday Racism” was a collaborative video project with Drywater Productions and Community Action to collect stories of Racism from recent past to present – happening in our own community. From clashes with the K*K to being stopped and questioned while leaving work to go home – racism is still very real in our modern world.

We owe a huge “THANK YOU” to everyone who participated in this project and shared their personal stories with us. Thank you all for getting involved, and for helping us to share this important message.

This is an award-winning mini-documentary featuring Jane Blain and Mick Gilbertson! Jane and Mick were the moving forces behind the Blain Gilbertson Family Heritage Bridge, constructed in Downtown Janesville, Wisconsin.

This pedestrian bridge spans the Rock River and joins the Town Square's East side with its West side. Drywater Productions captured nearly 500,000 time-lapse photos, videos, and drone videos over the course of 3 years. This film shares the challenges and joy of what is now a Downtown Janesville landmark.

Resilience & The Building of The Blain Gilbertson Family Heritage Bridge was honored with a 2022 Bronze Telly Award and 2022 Gold Viddy Award.

We created this video in November 2021 in partnership with the Rock County Cancer Coalition! In anticipation of that year’s Giving Tuesday fundraiser efforts, we decided to do something zany and fun.

The Rock County Cancer Coalition uses donated funds to contribute to take a stand against cancer by helping members of our community. We applaud them for all of their hard work!
