I miss volunteering with the Girls Rock summer camp!! Having two little ones I can’t be all there all day at the actual camp, but I can (and did) post flyers for this awesome benefit.
I’m working hard to convince my husband to get a flash tattoo tomorrow!! Can’t wait to see what designs they have.

Recipe for a perfect elementary school dance

1. The beloved school coach teaches & get the kids hyped for a few choreographed dances in the weeks leading up to the dance. On deck: Macarena, Cupid Shuffle, bunny hop and the cha-cha slide.
2. One of the mom volunteers slips you a list of songs that the girl 5th grade girls put together.
3. A professional DJ/dad is assigned to help take requests and deal with the 5 deep line of kids who all want to hear their song by any means necessary. This DJ will then expertly cull the enormous list & filter the noise to tell you only the most requested and appropriate songs while keeping an open mind- I think we both heard Sigma Boy for the first time that evening but he said the kids kept asking for it so we played it!
Most people aren’t lucky enough to get blessed with number 3 of this process but 1 & 2 are still solid tips 🏆
Big shoutout to - it was great to meet you and thanks so much for helping me make this an unforgettable experience for the kids!!!

Volunteering in my community for the Labor Day end of summer pool party, dropping some jams and trying to keep my son from twisting all the k***s 🤪
We had so much fun at the pool this summer but I’m ready for cooler temps, and ready for this baby to get here🤰
