Please share - We are seeking a full-time reporting intern for fall 2026.

The position is funded by the Scripps Howard Fund and the New Jersey Civic Information Consortium and pays $800 per week for 10 weeks, based on a 35-hour work week. The position can be hybrid or remote.

Applicants must be current students at a New Jersey college or university or 2026 graduates. New Jersey residents who attend college in another state, as well as New Jersey residents who graduated from an out-of-state college in 2026, are also eligible.

The intern will work alongside Vindicator reporters and editors covering New Jersey government, politics, policy, and other issues affecting residents across the state. It’s an opportunity to gain hands-on reporting experience and one-on-one mentoring while producing real journalism. Our interns are part of the reporting team: They report stories, develop sources, and get bylines. We don’t bring on interns to do busywork.

Police investigating threatening antisemetic letters sent to Princeton religious organizations

Three Princeton religious organizations received threatening anti-Semitic letters last month as part of what police say appears to be a broader pattern targeting Jewish groups across Mercer County and Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Police responded on April 21 to separate reports from organizations on Cherry Hill Road, Nassau Street, and State Road after staff members reported receiving letters containing threats of violence directed at the Jewish community....
