With tremendous excitement and gratitude, I am proud to officially announce that Rasheem Kilo Pugh has joined Onyx Urban Enterprises as Co-Owner, standing beside me as an equal partner in leadership, vision, and purpose.
Rasheem's remarkable career speaks for itself. As a Grammy Award-winning songwriter, his contributions helped shape one of the most influential albums in music history, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in entertainment, including Faith Evans, Pink, LL Cool J, Babyface, Anthony Hamilton, Aretha Franklin, Scarface, Ghostface Killah, and John Legend. His work extends beyond music into film production, community leadership, and arts advocacy through the Save the Arts Foundation. These accomplishments reflect a lifelong commitment to excellence, creativity, and empowering others.
But what excites me even more than his résumé is his character.
Rasheem shares the same passion for serving people, creating opportunities, mentoring talent, and building a legacy that reaches far beyond business. Those shared values are the foundation of this partnership.
