I’m really proud of how well these turned out. Especially since these were the first mallets that I have made. 😂
That cherry wood is absolutely 🔥🔥 and the maple that I used for the middle really is a good contrast for the cherry

Out here in the shop cutting a juice groove in a cutting board for my favorite shrimp boat Cap’n Kenneth Salcido
I can’t wait to get the laser engraving done on the other side of this beautiful 18”x12” maple cutting board

We got the opportunity to laser engrave the logo of another local business on some of their boards today. While doing the logos, we thought that the boards could use a coat of our Bayou Mud Board Conditioner. The board conditioner really brought out the beautiful grain of these boards

We got another kiln dried 36 inch black walnut serving board going. Hopefully we can get it laser engraved and oiled up this evening. I can’t wait to see what our Bayou Mud Board Conditioner does this beautiful walnut.
These boards make fantastic gifts

I think that black walnut is walnut is my favorite wood to work with. This beautiful kiln dried, 24 inch long, black serving board will be up for sale in a couple of days. It’ll have black handles and will include free laser engraving with one of our stock engraving choices
