For Kennedy Whisenant, winning isn’t just about the crown — it’s personal.

Abandoned as a newborn and adopted six days later by a single mother, Kennedy’s journey is one of grace, grit, and God’s timing. From her early days in Birmingham to being crowned Miss Collegiate America 2022, the former Miss Freshman (2019–2020) at Clark Atlanta University has defied every odd placed before her.

Now competing as Miss Alabama USA 2025, Kennedy stands on one of the biggest stages in pageantry not just for herself, but for every child who’s ever been told they weren’t wanted. Her story proves that faith can turn pain into purpose and setbacks into spotlight moments.

Former Miss Howard University (2020–2021) and Miss Texas USA 2025, Taylor Davis, is representing the Lone Star State to the tee! During the Miss USA 2025 State Costume Competition, Davis embodied true Texas spirit rocking a look that celebrated the symbols that make Texas shine: the Longhorn (State Animal), Monarch Butterfly (State Insect), Prickly Pear Cactus (State Plant), Chili (State Dish), and Bluebonnet (State Flower) with a touch of Beyoncé-inspired flair.

Her bold and beautiful presentation proved that everything really is bigger in Texas! Catch Davis competing for the national crown on October 24, 2025, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada.

Congratulations to Claude Jeremy Mounet on being elected Mister Junior at the University of the District of Columbia for the 2025–2026 academic year!

Born and raised in Gabon, Central Africa, Claude is an international student who came to the United States nearly three years ago. A Mathematics major and third-year scholar, he aspires to earn a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and specialize in Fractal Geometry.

Beyond the classroom, Claude has served as a volunteer math tutor and currently contributes as an undergraduate mathematics researcher at UDC. As Mister Junior, his mission is to expand access to academic opportunities for junior students and cultivate a stronger sense of community among his peers.

Congratulations to Esdrizabeth Pereyra Cuello on being elected Miss Junior at the University of the District of Columbia for the 2025–2026 academic year!

A proud Biology student originally from the Dominican Republic, Esdrizabeth has lived in the U.S. for eight years—five of those in Washington, D.C. She currently serves as Co-Captain of the Cheerleading Team, is an S-STEM Scholarship Recipient, and is active in both the Biology Lounge and Pre-Med Society. As a Student Researcher, 2025 DevCon Scholar, and 2025 AAMC S-STEM Attendee and Poster Presenter, she exemplifies academic excellence and leadership.

Her platform focuses on helping students grow personally and professionally while fostering a more connected campus community. Esdrizabeth is committed to elevating her peers by connecting them with essential resources, encouraging leadership development, and creating opportunities for academic, social, and community success.
