NEW RELEASE: Dear friends... I would like to let you know about a brand new project launch. I've been working with my new friends at Put Tools In Schools and the org's founder Ray Terry for several months now help that awesome organization grow and expand their outreach. Last month we launched their new website and we have big plans to work together to develop episodes of Digital Edge TV. The new 2024-2025 school year is quickly approaching. Put Tools In Schools (PTIS) has been making plans and setting the stage to raise awareness of the many career opportunities available in the Construction/Service trades and in Manufacturing.

Please take time to visit the https://www.puttoolsinschools.org website to see all of the details of our 2024-2025 plan. The event calendar will be posting all events that are scheduled. Register on our website to be included on our updates and newsletters.

To date PTIS has assisted over 4000 students in 29 High Schools participate in our “Trades Career Day” programs. Many students have enrolled in apprenticeship programs and many have received jobs. PTIS is planning to serve counties in NC Southwest District 6, including Mecklenburg and surrounding counties.

Working with your hands and mind empower our youth to achieve great things. These are not just job opportunities; they are also life skills. Our mission at PTIS is to connect our youth to industry and the many career opportunities.

PTIS has developed partnerships with non-profits, center360.org and West Boulevard Ministries, to work with groups of after school students. The schedules are on the Events Calendar. This is a great opportunity for all of us to impact the lives of these students.

Connecting Students to Careers in the Trades!

Dear friends. I've been working on producing a brand new podcast for a new client for the better part of 2024. The podcast series, Angels 2nd Class, is hosted by Chaplain Kathy Turner. Our work together began back in the fall of 2023 and throughout the winter we worked on branding, visuals and graphics for the show's production, guest scheduling, and release protocols. All that nitty gritty necessary fun stuff. Kathy came to the table with several previously-recorded audio podcasts which I edited and published for her and then we began production of her video podcast series which I now produce regularly in my vMix virtual studio. We've released about 5 episodes now and I'm encouraging you, my friends and audience, to consider watching this informative series and helping us spread the word by sharing these videos. It can sometimes be weighty content, like this series on end-of-life palliative care, but it's good content, necessary content, and Kathy regularly connects us with highly qualified, experienced guests that offer solid advice on a wide range of topics that apply to all of us. Here's a good one...... listen to this and please share with someone who you think may benefit from our guest's advice.

Dear friends, local and wide. I would like to take a moment to remind you of a very special live worship event taking place tomorrow at Project 658 in Charlotte organized and produced by my new friends at https://www.communitykitchenclt.org/. I've come to know the leaders of this group and they are just wonderful people serving a broad range of diverse communities with a wide variety of educational and outreach programs. Tomorrow we will begin with prayer around 4pm and the worship music starts about 5. There are many different cultures and musical styles represented throughout the program. Last I heard we're having worship songs sung in 8 different languages. Amazing! I am so thrilled, humbled and honored to have been asked to represent our English-speaking culture with a live worship set and my testimony delivered at 6:30pm. God has blessed me with the opportunity to play with some new musical friends of mine. Please come and join us as we play for the first time together select songs that weave into my testimony story of how God transformed my life through my battle with cancer and beyond. I'm truly amazed how he is working and I'm very much looking forward to the event. Also, I'll be providing video services and will be streaming the event as a service project of Scion Media(hopefully) if our tech in the center is agreeable.
