Our Story

In July 2018, after 30 years of living in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, my husband, Larry and I moved back to the endless mountains of Northeastern Pa. Now that our two boys were settled into their careers and living independently we wanted to ‘move back home’ to be closer to, and spend more time with our aging parents. We chose to settle along Route 6 – "One of America's most scenic drives," according to National Geographic – outside of Factoryville, a few minutes from Clarks Summit at the northern most extension of the PA Turnpike.

As a partner in our family’s advertising and marketing communications firm, L•A Advertising, I saw a growing interest by our clients to serve an ever-increasing population of seniors, age 50 and older. Relying on my background and experience as a registered nurse and analyst for a large, regional healthcare network, we signed an exclusive licensing agreement in March 2019 with THRIVE Media (publisher of LIFESTYLES Over 50 Lehigh Valley since 2005) to launch LIFESTYLES Over 50 Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Delving into topics of interest to seniors of NEPA, we hope to encourage vibrant, healthy and productive living through the stories we share about the people we meet and the businesses that serve this great region.

Editorial Calendar

LIFESTYLES Over 50 Northeastern Pennsylvania is distributed 7x annually.

Free industry listing All advertisers receive a free industry listing under their respective category published on www.LIFESTYLESover50.com/NEPA, including company logo, description and related contact information along with a link to your Website.

Editorial contributions Businesses advertising in multiple issues (minimum 3x frequency contracted within a 12-month, annual period) are encouraged to submit their stories and educational content for editorial consideration, subject to the executive editor’s discretion.

Ad Rates and Sizes

Frequency Ad rates are based on cost per insertion (issue) for the frequency contracted within a 12-month, annual period.

Specifications Digital files are preferred in print-ready PDF or JPEG with all related images and fonts imbedded, in CMYK at 300 dpi.

Deadlines Artwork is due by day 15 of the month prior to the insertion (issue) month (i.e., July’s material deadline is June 15) or will be subject to a late fee. Payment is due by the end of the same month prior to the magazine being printed and distributed.
