If someone says they want perfect love, loyalty, honesty, peace, and devotion, then they also have to understand the responsibility that comes with receiving those things.

You cannot ask for a person who only has eyes for you while still keeping one eye searching for someone else.

You cannot ask for deep commitment while feeding shallow attention outside the relationship.

If this person is truly your dream person, then protect the dream.

Because love is not only about what you receive. It is also about what you consistently reflect back.

Too many people want the security of loyalty while still entertaining the excitement of possibility. And eventually that contradiction creates distance, suspicion, and emotional exhaustion.

Nobody is perfect. But if two people are asking for exclusivity, trust, devotion, and peace, then both people should move in alignment with the very thing they claim to want. Otherwise, the relationship slowly becomes a performance instead of a partnership.

Let’s make something clear.
Men and women often approach betrayal differently.

Many men can compartmentalize a side relationship and continue functioning in their marriage or relationship for years as if nothing changed.

Many women, once emotionally invested elsewhere, are already transitioning mentally, emotionally, or spiritually toward another chapter.

Not always. But often enough for people to notice.

Society may rename things:
polyamory,
open relationships,
situationships,
emotional connections…

but new labels do not erase the inner conflict.

Because deep inside, human beings still wrestle with guilt, desire, loneliness, validation, fear, attachment, and the need to feel wanted.

The terminology evolved.
Human nature didn’t.
