I've lived outside of America for almost a decade, been in combat multiple times in Iraq, and faced death. So, I've got a different perspective than most Christians in America.

My views more closely align with scripture, and because of this, I'm actually more of a pariah among American Christians.

I don't say this to complain but to get across the reality of lukewarm Christianity in America and how if we will truly live for Christ, we will be a minority.

When people try to downplay what God calls sin, it really shows how lukewarm people are. If God tells us that women shouldn't have authority over men, and we allow women to have authority over men in the church or anywhere else, then that's sin.

If you defend hating Israel and the Jewish people, then you have no place in God's Kingdom.

If you try to hide your hatred of Israel beneath simply criticizing the government, then you're also a foolish coward.

If your first reaction when confronted with your sin is to attack, then your heart isn't right before God. A born-again Christian should respond with a broken and contrite heart willing to repent.

I'm not sure why this isn't preached more around Christmas or throughout the year. The sacrifice Jesus made just to come down to us is more immense than we realize.

Philippians 2:5-8 ESV — Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men.
