💘 HERE’S HOW SPEED DATING WORKS AT TIPSY ISLAND! 💘

There are no pre signups this time, just show up and scan the QR code when you arrive!

Signups are open from 7:00–7:30 PM, and speed dating begins at 7:30 PM!

📱 You do NOT have to download an app! Our QR code opens your private dating page directly in Safari or your phone’s internet browser.

👩 Women stay seated at their tables.

👨 Men rotate when each round ends.

⏰ Each date lasts 5 minutes.

💕 We’ll have up to 12 rounds!

We will sound a timer when your five minutes are up, so listen for it! Your personal dating page will also tell you when it’s time to switch and where you need to go next. Don’t rotate early, listen for the timer and follow your page!

🚨 YOU MUST USE YOUR DATING PAGE! 🚨

After every date, select whether you’d like to connect with that person. If you don’t make your selections through the page, you WILL NOT match with anyone, even if they selected you!

If you both choose YES, it’s a mutual match and private messaging becomes available. Nobody will see your answer unless the feeling is mutual. 👀

⚠️ If you match, exchange phone numbers or social media information before the event ends! We aren’t sure how long messaging will remain available, and we don’t want you losing your match because you waited.

Keep your dating page open, keep your phone charged and make your selection after every date!

If we have more men than women, some men may have a sit out round. Your personal page will tell you whether you’re dating or sitting out, and our system will balance the rounds as fairly as possible.

We’re doing things a little differently this time: NO PRE-SIGNUPS! Why? Because last time, half the women signed up and then left an entire room full of men sitting there like contestants nobody picked. 😭🤣

So here’s the deal:
👨 MEN—SHOW UP.
👩 WOMEN—SHOW UP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

We cannot speed date if only one side of the speed is dating. 😂

Our brand new Harry Potter inspired seasonal drink menu officially launches TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1ST, but we’re too excited to make you wait that long. 😂
