Intertwined

Her laughter, soft like sunlight through the trees,
Danced in the air, carried on the breeze.
But then came chaos, crashing like a wave—
Fear took hold, and hearts were brave.

In tangled arms and desperate cries,
She slipped between the earth and skies.
A beautiful child, pure and true,⁷
Taken too soon—what can we do?

Her voice still echoes in the wind,
Where love and sorrow softly blend.
The sea remembers, the sky still weeps,
And in our hearts, her spirit keeps.

Her laughter—intertwined with fear—
Is somehow still so crystal clear.
A moment held in memory's flame,
Though nothing now will be the same.

We search for meaning in this pain,
For hope beneath this endless rain.
Her life, a light that burned so bright,
Still guides us gently through the night.

Where do we resume? How do we mend?
When we’ve lost a soul we cannot comprehend.
But we carry her love in all that we do—
Trinity, we will never stop looking for you.

Welcome to Bay Life!

It is with great pleasure to offer a true, community-oriented newspaper to the locals of Bluewater Bay, Hammock Bay and Choctawhatchee Bay. Bay Life joined the Destin and South Walton Life family of community newspapers in August 2019. Residents and business owners asked for it, and we now provide the Bay area its own edition particularly geared to promote and highlight all the positive and valuable activities, businesses and residents in the those communities.

Building on the popularity and success of SoWal Life and Destin Life, Bay Life fosters a connection to and within the community. Roughly 11,000 copies of Bay Life are produced each month and direct mailed to homes and businesses in Bluewater Bay to Hammock Bay—a potential market of more than 22,000 readers!

Our purpose is to let residents know what’s going on in their community all year round. In the past, businesses and buying habits have been under represented—until now. Bay Life offers businesses and organizations their own platform—a paper that represents their niche and allows their voice to be heard.

Inside Bay Life, you’ll find articles on local news, community, events, non-profit organizations, sports, arts, music and local businesses. And, each month, the paper features profiles of people and businesses in the community with an interesting story to tell.
