January Green Goddess Dip
Greek yogurt, ripe avocado, lemon zest, and fresh herbs come together in a creamy, pale-green dip that’s bright, savory, and deeply satisfying.

Blend 1½ cups thick Greek yogurt with 1 avocado, 1 small grated garlic clove, lemon zest and juice, parsley, chives, and dill until smooth but still flecked with herbs. Season with sea salt and cracked pepper.

Spoon into a shallow bowl, swirl, and finish with good olive oil and a pinch of lemon zest. Serve with crisp winter vegetables—carrots, radishes, cucumber, endive, snap peas, and blanched asparagus.

January calls for meals that feel grounding but not heavy. Warm-seared flank or sirloin steak is sliced thin and layered over crisp baby greens with sweet pear and toasted walnuts, bringing balance to winter cravings. Finished with a drizzle of creamy blue cheese or gorgonzola dressing, this salad delivers steakhouse comfort with a lighter January mindset—hearty, fresh, and exactly right for easing into the new year.

🥂 Brandy • Crème de Cacao • Cream
🍫 Dark chocolate finish
Creamy, classic, and just a little decadent. This Brandy Alexander is part cocktail, part dessert — smooth brandy shaken with dark crème de cacao and heavy cream until silky, then strained into a chilled coupe and finished with a shower of dark chocolate shavings. To make it: shake 1½ oz brandy, 1 oz crème de cacao, and 1 oz heavy cream hard with ice until well chilled and lightly frothy, strain, garnish, and sip slowly.

Recipe here in the caption
Start with 2 cups raw, unsalted peanuts set aside and ready to go. In a wide skillet, combine 1 cup granulated sugar with ¼ cup water, cooking over medium heat until the sugar fully dissolves and turns a deep amber caramel. Once the color is rich and glossy, add 3 tablespoons butter and gently swirl the pan until the butter melts and the caramel becomes smooth and fluid.

Immediately add the peanuts, stirring quickly to coat each one evenly. Continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes, just until the caramel thickens and clings to the nuts without burning. Transfer the peanuts to a parchment-lined surface, separating them slightly, and finish with ½ to 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt while still warm.

Let cool completely for maximum crunch, then pile into a beautiful bowl, pour the bubbles, and let midnight take care of the rest 🥂
