Alright, so this Saturday Night, you can catch DJ Scott B at Tomasos Pizza and Burger Bar located at 51 Wharf Street in Portland for Club Party DJ Night. It is where Tomasos turns into Club 51. In conjunction with the vision of where the venue owner wants to see things go, I will be playing more music in the electronic lane. The direction will be along the type of music that charts on the contemporary dance music chart. What I am doing here with this music is straight up beat mixing as opposed to a festival sound approach. There will also be some rhythmic hip hop mixed in as well as this also fits the direction of where we want to go musically. The idea is to present a format of music that is not currently being done in this area and to make it a destination spot for such with whomever is playing here. The party goes from 9:00 to 1:00 and this is a 21 plus event with proper ID. There is not a cover charge. Come on out early and order some of your favorite food items from the kitchen, order a couple of drinks from your favorite bartenders and chill out or dance to some of the hottest dance and rhythmic hip hop from today and back in the day. Plz share this post as the more people that see this and know about it, the more people will show up and show out and something can be built. We'll see you all out there.

So Saturday Night I DJed the Colby Crew Team Formal at The Cavern In The Tavern, which is the downstairs area inside Silver Street Tavern, also know to Colby kids as "The Viper Room", as at one point that was what it was called amongst other names it had over the years. The area is currently used for overflow dine in as well as private events. I Djed this event last year as well. This is a really good group of college kids. Musically they were mostly liking a lot of 2010s music and that was primarily what they were requesting as well. I dropped a little bit of new music as well and a little bit of new music was requested. As has been the tradition with any Colby Event, Abba - Gimme Gimme Gimme has always a big hit at these events. This was being requested the first time I did a Colby event in 2018. There was a request for Lil U*i Vert - Sanguine Paradise, which is always a big hit with younger crowds and then I mixed into Chief Keef - Love Sosa, which is a way bigger hit with the younger crowd than it was with alot of us when it was out in its time. I remember this being requested when I did the Brewer homecoming in 2021 and when I played it the entire group was fully into it. These events are always a blast to do and it is always a fun group with a high energy level. I look forward to continuing to do more of these types of events as they're always fun to do.

So last night, I wound up DJing for the majority of the night at Salt North Taproom in Bangor. This was a last minute development like me sitting at Ruby Tuesday's in Water ille at like 9:00 at night wrapping up dinner last minute. Due to some circumstances going on up there I was needed for the night so I was like "Let's Do It.". For a night with lousy weather it was a decent night. It was nice to see a few people I had not seen in awhile. The music lane that people were on this night was 90s and 2000s. As I do on these types of nights it winds up being the throwbacks of yesterday with some of the hottest new jams of today. There were some good requests such as DtMF from Bad Bunny, King Of The Dancehall from Beenie Man, and WGFT from Gunna feat. Burna Boy to name a few. Usually I am good for having most music on these types of nights and there were only two songs requested that I did not have. One was a deep cut from Loe Shimmy, whom is trending on the Urban and Rhythmic Formats, which I played his current single 3am feat. Don Toliver instead and some song out of left field. Jon-E had played early in the night and got on for a couple of tracks later. It is always a blast up here and we will see you all again soon at a date to be determined.
