Alright, here are a few photos from last night's Independence Day Party at Fast Breaks in Lewiston. As this was the only venue open for this weekend, they went ahead and did a dance party night. This is a slower night than usual as usually beer pong is going on with The food out here is awesome. For dinner I had to sweet and sour chicken stir fry and it was delicious. They have a menu with a great selection plus they run weekly specials and the prices are very competitive. We had more of a chill crowd with the first half of the night being more retro night for the older crowd and then as the night went on it became more and more 2010s and today's music. It was more of a bar night than a dancing night. People were coming up making a few requests and vibing at the bar. What was really cool with some people were amazed at how I was straight up beat mixing with CDs so nonchalantly. That is always cool when that happens. Most of the music people were wanting to hear was retro, throwback hip-hop, rhythmic country, and some of today's music. I request for artists like Teddy Swims, Morgan Wallen, Dr. Dre, Salt-N-Pepa and a couple of others. This place is great, the staff and patrons are awesome and hopefully I'll get the fortune of getting to cover a beer pong night sometimes when vjpulse has other things going on.
